Cast Steel Valves

This collection groups cast steel valve families by flow-control function. Use it when the project starts with cast body construction, then choose isolation, throttling or backflow prevention before reviewing the applicable standard and pressure class.

Cast Steel Valves by Function

Choose the valve function first. Each collection page then shows size range, pressure classes, materials, end connections and RFQ details.

Buyer Selection Matrix

Cast Steel Valve Selection Matrix

Need line isolationStart with API 600 cast steel gate valves.
Need throttling or frequent flow adjustmentReview API 623 cast steel globe valves.
Need automatic reverse-flow preventionReview API 594 cast steel check valves.
Need low-temperature or corrosion-resistant body materialConfirm the specified ASTM grade and the project temperature/corrosion requirements.
Need flange or butt-weld endsMatch RF, RTJ or BW details to the piping specification and line class.

Selection Logic

Choose by Function Before Choosing by Class

A pressure class alone does not identify the correct valve. First define what the valve must do in the line. Gate valves isolate, globe valves provide controlled shutoff or throttling, and check valves prevent reverse flow. After the function is clear, compare class, size, material and end connection.

Project Application

Material Review for Cast Steel Valves

The product families on this site include carbon steel, low-temperature carbon steel, stainless steel and alloy steel options depending on valve type. The final body and trim material should be checked against design temperature, fluid compatibility, toughness, corrosion and the approved material specification.

For final selection, use the project valve specification, piping material class, approved datasheet and service conditions as the controlling documents.

Factory & Quality Evidence

Review Supplier Evidence Before PO

Buyers can review YINKE VALVE factory information, quality certificates, sample inspection records and project references before technical and commercial confirmation.

Buyer Questions

Cast Steel Valves FAQ

Which cast steel valve types are included here?

This collection links to API 600 gate valves, API 623 globe valves and API 594 check valves.

Are all cast steel valves the same pressure range?

No. The range depends on the valve family and design. Open the relevant product page to see the available pressure classes.

What should I include in a cast steel valve inquiry?

Include valve type, size, pressure class, body and trim material, end connection, operation if applicable, quantity, service conditions and project testing/document requirements.
